Wondering about when to get a cell phone for your child? Struggling with managing your child’s social media usage? Dr. Sarita Schoenebeck will lead families through current research and best practices for how to navigate social media and technology use at home and in school. Information on common sense guidelines and real-world deployment of these guidelines will be shared. We hope families will join us to learn about how to have a healthy relationship with social media use and to empower families and children to manage their online identities.
Sarita Schoenebeck is an Assistant Professor in the School of Information at the University of Michigan where she directs the Living Online Lab (LOL). She is also a member of the Michigan Interactive & Social Computing group.
